Bareilly: A warm and memorable farewell ceremony was organized for the outgoing M.A. Fourth Semester students at the Department of Regional Economics of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. The event was hosted by students of the M.A. Second Semester as a gesture of appreciation and respect for their seniors.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Shivani, a first-year M.A. student, who warmly greeted the faculty members and students present on the occasion. The ceremony reflected a spirit of camaraderie, gratitude and celebration as juniors and seniors came together to mark an important academic milestone.
Addressing the gathering, Head of the Department Prof. Bhola Khan extended his best wishes to the graduating students for their future endeavours. He encouraged them to pursue their goals with dedication and confidence and to continue striving for excellence in every sphere of life.
The farewell event featured a variety of cultural performances and competitions in which students enthusiastically participated. The performances added colour and vibrancy to the occasion, creating a festive atmosphere while offering students an opportunity to showcase their talents.
Several senior faculty members also addressed the students and shared valuable guidance for their academic and professional journeys ahead. Among those who spoke were Prof. Ashutosh Priya, Dr. Ajit Singh, Dr. Mohammad Israr Khan, Dr. Ruchi Dwivedi, Subodh Dhawan, Prof. Maurya, and Dr. Janki Rajput. They inspired students to explore new opportunities, contribute meaningfully to society and establish themselves in their chosen fields.
